Covid-19 Update

Please be aware of the following important announcement regarding entry to Diocesan Offices – St Barnabas College and The Lodge.

The direction we’ve received from the Adelaide Diocesan Office states only those who have been vaccinated against Covid-19 can enter the building.

This policy comes into effect immediately. Anyone entering the building will be required to show proof of vaccination to Reception and shall be refused entry if unable to do so.

This policy also applies to children who are unvaccinated and there are unfortunately no exceptions for those with a medical exemption.

If you want to visit,  proof of vaccination will be required.

For ways to prove your vaccination status using your mobile, please follow the link: https://www.servicesaustralia.gov.au/individuals/subjects/getting-help-during-coronavirus-covid-19/covid-19-vaccinations/what-types-proof-there-are/covid-19-digital-certificate-proof

If you cannot use online or apps to show your vaccination status, then please follow this link for more information: https://www.servicesaustralia.gov.au/individuals/subjects/getting-help-during-coronavirus-covid-19/covid-19-vaccinations/how-get-proof#a3

This does not mean that those who are not vaccinated cannot meet with SBC staff members if they need to do so.

For those needing to come into the library to borrow or return books, then please email Katrina directly to set up an alternative option.

If you would like to meet regarding academic matters, then a meeting via Zoom or another convenient location can be arranged (contact Damian).

We do not want any of our students or lecturers to think or feel that they are not welcome to come to the College, but we ask that you follow the policy of the Adelaide Diocesan Office.

Kind regards,
Dr. Damian Szepessy
