Biography
Ordained as a minister of the Church in 1992, Santhosh served a brief period of pastoral ministry in the Church of South India before joining the faculty of the United Theological College, Bangalore, in 1994. After continuing 23 years in teaching ministry at UTC he is currently the Parish Priest of the Anglican Parish of Broadview and Enfield.
He is a Professor of Liturgy and Music under the Senate of Serampore University and was the Dean of Doctoral and Non-Degree (Research) at the United Theological College, Bangalore, India. He has authored several publications and has been a resource person at the Katholieke Universiteit, Leuven, Belgium; MCD University of Divinity, Melbourne; and the Australian Catholic University, Melbourne.
He has supervised around 25 theses in Master of Theology level and around 20 theses in Bachelor of Theology level to successful completion, and currently supervising doctoral candidates of the Senate of Serampore (University).
Santhosh, lives in Adelaide with his wife Sheeba and sons Sangeet and Sandeep – and his free time interests include driving and spending time with nature.
Research Interests
His present academic research is on ‘Christian worship in a religiously pluralistic world’. His academic and pastoral interests include creative and indigenous liturgies, indigenous music, contributing to courses in Practical Theology, involvement in intercultural and interfaith initiatives.
