Within the Brisbane Diocese she served on Diocesan Council and General Synod, participated in a wide range of School Councils and Diocesan Boards and Committees as well as serving as Archdeacon of the Sunshine Coast. Julie also chaired the National Connect2Church campaign and was a member of the General Synod Fresh Expressions Task Force.
