Fees and Student Support
Tuition fees represent only a small proportion of the real cost of theological education at St Barnabas College. The Synod of the Anglican Diocese of Adelaide invests in the college through the financial support it provides through the annual grant. Other support comes from the Colleges’ own resources and support from individuals and parishes.
Students undertaking degree courses and who are entitled to Commonwealth support may be eligible for HECS-HELP assistance. This allows eliglble students to obtain a loan from the Commonwealth Government for all or part of the student contribution. Students may pay their loan through the taxation system once their income is above the minimum threshold for compulsory repayment. For information regarding actual course costs please refer to CSU’s ‘Help with Costs’ webpage
CSU charges all students a Student Services Amenities fee, but some students may be eligible for SA-HELP assistance.
Further information on fees and Commonwealth support can be found at the Australian Government’s Study Assist web site.
Those accessing Personal Enrichment Places enrol and pay a fee directly to St Barnabas College.
