Master of Theology

Master of Theology

The CSU Master of Theology course is designed to build on previous theological study in order to develop an in-depth understanding of issues in contemporary theology.

Many students choose to study the MTh as a part of their professional development. It can also be a stepping-stone to further doctoral studies.

To graduate, students must satisfactorily complete 96 points (6 subjects) of study, involving one core subjects and five restricted electives.

The degree is two years full-time study or can be completed on a part-time basis.

Master of Philosophy (Theology)

SBC also offers a Master of Philosophy (Theology).

The CSU Master of Philosophy course is designed to build on previous theological study in order to develop an in-depth understanding of issues in contemporary theology, granting you the opportunity to formulate a research question and explore a relevant area of interest. It is functionally equivalent to a the old Master of Theology (research).
