St Barnabas is co-located with the Anglican Diocese of Adelaide Office in a beautiful Heritage Building in North Adelaide. If you would like to visit the College and have a look around, the directions are below:
By Car
There is no on-site parking available, and parking in North Adelaide is limited. Pennington Tce has street-side parking – 2 hours on the east side, and 10 hours ticketed on the west side. The nearest parking structure is the Adelaide Oval East car park operated by Wilson Parking. Note that this is typically occupied during events at the oval.
By Bicycle
Outdoor bicycle racks are available on the south side of the building; turn right just before you walk in the main doors and follow the path around. A shower is available on the ground floor in the Atrium, next to the lift.
Free bicycles are available to hire from the Adelaide Metro InfoCentre inside the Adelaide Railway Station; an ID deposit is required.
By Bus
The closest bus stop to St Barnabas College is Stop 2 King William Road. On the west side (northbound services), Stop 2 Zone A is used in peak periods for certain services, and Stop 2 Zone B at other times – refer to the signs.
By Train or Tram
Adelaide Railway Station is a 12 minute (950m) walk away, past Adelaide Oval and across the newly constructed Riverbank Bridge. Adelaide Railway Station is the hub of Adelaide’s train network, so you can catch a train directly to any station.
The Adelaide Railway Station Tram Stop is just outside the station, on North Terrace.
We recommend that you call 8305 9380 first to make an appointment, especially if you would also like to meet a particular person during your visit, or be shown around.
Should you wish to support the College by praying with us and/or for us please note that daily prayer is a core activity of the College, and we hold morning prayer from 9.15 – 9.30am, in the St Barnabas Chapel, each day Monday to Thursday.
Alternatively you may prefer to commit to keeping the College, staff, students and volunteers in your prayers
